kickin' it

So the other night as I was spending some quality time with the Mrs., and I finally felt the baby kick!!! It was the coolest thing, but at the same time creepy. I can't imagine how Kat feels when that thing is moving around in there. It reminds me of the movie Alien, except this alien is going to be one serious pooping machine. I can't wait!

It's still pretty amazing when I think about the direction my life has gone. This time last year, I never would have imagined I'd be married and expecting a beautiful baby girl. I'm not complaining though. I'm very happy with my life because I have such wonderful people around me, and an amazing, beautiful, sexy, pretty, wonderful, pretty wonderful.... and did I already say BEAUTIFUL wife? At times I was sort of doubting myself, but everyone around me has only shown support and helped me realize that I really can do this. Both Kat and I feel so very loved by our friends and family.

I can't believe that in about 3 months, she is going to be born. That's when the craziness begins! Many tired and sleepless nights. Say goodbye to happy hours and Call of Duty =[. Oh well, it is a new chapter in my life and I am looking forward to meeting my daughter for the first time. I hope she takes after me and is not a party animal like her mother. Oh man, the headaches.... but I'll share my thoughts on having a girl another day.
